EDC INITIATIVES IN PUERTO RICO AND USVI

The first innovations, or EDC-1, were identified in 2010. These innovations were promoted through Every Day Counts during 2011 and 2012. The Puerto Rico LTAP Director was inquired by FHWA, Puerto Rico Division to prepare and submit a proposal, through PRHTA, outlining an implementation plan for the rapid deployment of proven solutions and technologies identified as part of the national EDC program.
